{Pin}spirational Challenges: Quilt

Hello!

Today is the start of a new challenge at
{PIN}spirational Challenges.

Challenge #185 runs until 13th March.

Here is the inspiration photo:

We are kindly sponsored by Pattie's Creations.

Here is my project:

It's a simple card. I made the background from embossed textured card and matted it on to black card. The stamp is called Quilt with Hearts and it was coloured with markers, fussy cut and attached on foam pads for some dimension. The sentiment is computer generated and cut with a Cheery Lynn banner die, and also attached on foam pads.

I couldn't decide whether or not to use the Antique Sewing Machine stamp, so decided to show you both cards:

That's all from me today.  hope you'll pop over to
to check out the gorgeous designs by the rest of the DT.

We would love for you to take part in the challenge!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Gecko Galz: All About Love

Hello!

Today I'm sharing more of my projects for Gecko Galz

You still have a little time left to enter February customer challenge - the theme is 'Vintage Valentines'.

Here are the cards I made:

The focal image is from the A Rose Is A Rose digital collage set. The corners were rounded and it's edges inked with Vintage Photo distress ink. It was matted on to  Star Crossed paper. Gold mirror card was embossed and matted onto black card as the background.
Ivory lace was adhered along the bottom edge of the roses image and a label with a pink, organza- style ribbon was attached. I heat embossed a mdf heart with gold powder and finished the card with three ivory pearls.

***
The next card was made with a Gecko Galz digital stamp:

I printed one of the stamps from the Tattoo Love digital stamp set and coloured it with Spectrum Noir markers. I matted it onto embossed red mirror card which was then matted onto black card and attached to the card base.

You can enter your projects until the 8th March.

 Here is the inspiration photo:

This time we are sponsored by the wonderful

Here is my card using Lemon Shortbread's Balloon Girl:

I decided to make a shaped card using a die set. The image is coloured with markers. She's popped on foam pads onto a background of patterned papers to represent the sky and ground. Her balloon is attached by a piece of twin and the sentiment was computer generated and die cut and surrounded with flowers.

That's all from me for today. Now it's over to you...

Vera Lane Studio: Goldilocks

Hello!

Today I'm sharing a card I made with a new release from Vera Lane Studio

Goldilocks has arrived!
And she is fabulous - she comes with a cottage, some trees and a sentiment.

I teamed Goldie with The Three Bears:

All images were coloured with markers and pencils. The trees and the bear png files were arranged before they were printed. They were fussy cut and arranged on the background which is a gelli plate print. Goldie and the large tree are popped on foam pads to add some dimension. Glossy Accents were added to the bears noses and to Goldie's eyes. White gel pen dots form a border.

{Pin}spirational Challenges: Little Bear

Hello!

Today is the start of a new challenge at
{PIN}spirational Challenges.

Challenge #184 is sponsored by the wonderful Beccy's Place.
You have until 28th February to enter.

And this is the inspiration photo:

How will this inspire you?

I made a card using the free images available at Beccy's Place Blog
I used the Little Blue BearBalloon Bunny, and the For You sentiment.

I coloured the image with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut around him leaving a thin white border. He was popped up on foam pads onto an embossed background, for texture, which had its edges inked with Memento Blue Danube. The balloon came from the Balloon Bunny image. I tied a piece of twine around the balloon and adhered it behind the bear's paw. The sentiment was also adhered on foam pad. The image was then matted onto bright blue textured card and then onto dark blue card and finally onto the card base.

That's all from me today.  hope you'll pop over to
to check out the gorgeous designs by the rest of the DT.

We would love for you to take part in the challenge!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Vera Lane Studio: Love

Hello!

It's February and time to share our love.
So today I have a love themed card for my DT spot at Vera Lane Studio.

I'm proud to say that I won a Spotlight post at Deep Ocean Challenges and Top 3 at Crafty Calendar and Cardz 4 Galz.

I used digital stamps from a set called February, which is part of the Birthday Collection. I coloured the images with Spectrum Noir markers and pencils. My little gal's eyes and heart string has Glossy Accents, as well as the dog's eyes and heart charm. Glitter was applied to the gal's eyes and hair and to the dog's collar. The images were fussy cut leaving a thin white border, then matted on to black card which also was fussy cut. The black background makes the images stand out from the busy mixed media background. The images are popped on foam pads.

The background started as a gelli plate print. Printed tissue paper was adhered with decoupage glue.  White acrylic paint was randomly stamped with bubble wrap and torn washi tape was applied. The hearts are from a set called Vera's Borders. They are coloured and have Glossy Accents for shine and texture. They are popped on foam pads for dimension. The sentiment was computer generated and the word 'LOVE' was a free gift from Janet at Vera Lane Studio to all those who took part in the 'All Creatures Great and Small' ATC swap last month. A dangle wire of beads and sequins finishes off my card.

ATC: Miss Piggy's Love

Hello!

It's February and the time to show our love for one another.
I'm always overwhelmed at how kind and supportive the blogging community is, so here is a Valentine ATC I made for everyone who reads my post!

Look at Miss Piggy - isn't she gorgeous?  She comes in a set from Vera Lane Studio called Bacon Bits. I've coloured her with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut.  The sentiment comes with the digi set.  She has a gelli printed background and a frame from another VLS set called Fun Frames.  Miss Piggy is popped on foam pads.  The hearts on both the frame and Miss Piggy have Glossy Accents to make them shine; and her eyes and crown have some iridescent glitter to make them sparkle.

Happy Valentine's Day!
and
Thanks for stopping by today.
